Concrete Work
The concrete has been poured for the patio in the backyard that will overlook the Pacific Ocean. I sense some wonderful times that will be spent on this patio enjoying barbecues, basking in the sun, or simply watching the ocean.
Framing Complete
The framing is complete and the roof has been installed for the addition that we’ve been working on in Rockaway Beach. Check out this view of Lake Lytle from the second story. It’s starting to get a little easier to see the end result of this project and I’m liking what I see!

The addition in Rockaway Beach is progressing every day! Here you can see JLT has started laying the roof sheathing and installing fascia boards. It might not be watertight quite yet but JLT Construction will soon have this building sealed and waterproofed.

New Materials!
The stairs are installed and materials are being delivered. There was a little rain on the site this morning but that isn’t slowing down the crew. JLT Construction knows how to keep progressing, regardless of wet or rainy conditions.
Almost Time to Cut the Windows!
The plywood sheathing is going on and soon it will be time to rough out the windows. It doesn’t take long for JLT to progress through a project. The team is highly skilled and very efficient. The Oregon coast has a great homebuilder in JLT Construction!
I-joist Framing Advantages
By incorporating I-joists in this project, JLT is using less lumber than traditional framing and also reducing potential twisting and bowing problems. This should help eliminate squeaky noises and provide the homeowner with a quieter and more consistent floor or ceiling.
